Fall Color Palettes We're Loving

Design · Trends · 4 min read

Autumn gives you permission to go richer, warmer, and a little more dramatic. But the most memorable fall events skip the expected orange-and-brown and reach for something more nuanced. Here are four palettes we're returning to this season.

1. Burgundy & Slate

Deep wine paired with cool slate blue feels modern and grown-up, moody without being heavy. Beautiful for evening receptions and corporate galas alike.

2. Terracotta & Sage

An earthy, organic combination that bridges late summer into fall. It photographs warmly and pairs effortlessly with dried florals and natural textures.

3. Plum & Gold

Regal and a touch unexpected. Plum brings depth while antique gold keeps things celebratory, a palette that reads expensive without trying too hard.

4. Chocolate & Cream

Rich brown is having a real moment. Layered with soft cream and warm neutrals, it feels cozy, refined, and wonderfully tactile in linens and tablescapes.

The secret to a great palette isn't the colors; it's the restraint. Pick three to five and let them repeat.

Designing a fall celebration? We'll help you build a palette that carries from save-the-dates all the way to the dessert table.
